Welcome

To my family, friends, students, and to any and all wayfarers: welcome to my web site. My name is Robert Champ. I am a writer and instructor in English at University of Maryland University College where I work exclusively on-line.

At this site you will find materials primarily related to the reading and writing of books, and to the arts generally. Included are works by myself and others, and links to sites that celebrate literature, film, painting, and other arts. You are also invited to sample some of the poems in my first book Blue Denim Days--a work that takes as its subject matter the tumultuous 1960s, during which time I grew up. Or so I am told. The site is a work-in-progress, but you can take a look right now at the beginnings of various enterprises.
